What is Computer?
An electronic device, operating under the control of instructions stored in its memory

               Accepts data   ➨  processing  ➨   Produces information

Examples of Computers: Laptop, tablet, desktop & server.
Examples of Input Devices: keyboard, pointing devices & scanner

Examples of Output Devices: printer, display and speakers

Computers keep data on a storage media (CD/DVD)

What is Internet?A worldwide collections of networks that connects millions of business, government agencies, educational institutions and individuals.

What is World Wide Web (web)
A global library of information available for anyone connected to the Internet.

What is Webpage?
A collection of related webpages.

What is Web server?
A computer that delivers requested webpages to your computer.

What is Browser?
Software that enables users with an internet connection to access and view webpages on a computer/mobile devices.

What is Search engine?
Software that finds websites, webpages, images, videos, news, maps & more information related to a specific topic.

What is Online Social Network?
Encourages members to share their interest, stories, photos, music and videos with other registered users.

What is Green Computing?
Involves reducing the electricity consumed and environmental waste generated.

  5. immediately donating and properly disposing of replaced computers

What is Software?
Also called a program that tells computer what to perform and how to perform them.

Home users / mobile users / small or home office users / enterprise users & power users
